Meet THe Original THERapy Dog- Charlie

Charlie was a special dog.  Surrendered to a kill shelter, no one wanted him, he was riddled with skin issues and scheduled for euthanasia.  Through a group rescue effort, The Founder & Owner of Charlie's Cure, Naidra, was able to adopt Charlie and bring him home safely into her life. 

When she realized what a special, gentle soul Charlie was, she knew she had to share his gift.  
Also knowing how much joy he could spread in his lifetime, she had him certified as a Therapy Dog.

Charlie was a lover of all kinds- adults, children and animals alike.  He taught us all about kindness, forgiveness, resilience and second chances.

Unfortunately, Charlie is no longer with us and received his Angel wings at the end of 2025.  However, his work, giving back to the community and the memories of endless love and smiles he provided, will always live on.

An avid animal lover and advocate her entire life, Naidra Dawn Thomson has also spent years interning, volunteering and working in Animal Welfare and Rescue.  During her time working with and for the animals, she realized what remarkable, intelligent creatures they all are and how much emotional support they naturally offer.  They truly provide the benefits of healing and are eager to please.  Naidra is here to help share her passion.
